### Transylvania, Romania 🇷🇴

Is it the obvious place? Maybe. Is it an epic spot to be for Halloween anyway? Yes. October also happens to be a beautiful time to visit Transylvania. The Carpathian Mountains are full of fall colours, the medieval towns are quieter than in summer, and the cooler weather is perfect for exploring castles and old cobblestone streets. Add in the Halloween celebrations around Bran Castle, and the timing couldn't be better.
