Seems people often think they're attached to a certain destination, but I think what they're actually attached to is a way of traveling. For Bali, maybe that's surf, cafes, beaches, budget travel, and slower days. Places evolve, and sometimes they no longer offer what you're looking for. So to me these aren't places that are 'like Bali', but ones with that same style of travel.
