Solo Travel Tip

When traveling solo, request a room near the elevator and ask for no adjoining rooms. And always deadbolt your hotel door, even in 'nice' hotels. Tiny habits, but they make a huge difference in how comfortable and settled you feel when arriving somewhere unfamiliar.
