Packing a Fleece In July

I always thought "What's the best safari?" was the question. Turns out the better question is what kind of safari you actually want. Gorillas, big cats, river safaris or your first game drive? Once you know that, picking the country gets a whole lot easier.

I treat lists like this as future travel plans. I've been to eight of these beaches already and every one lived up to the hype. The annoying part is that now there are four more I apparently need to go and "research."

I don't know why I'm so fascinated by bridges. I couldn't tell you much about the engineering, but I always stop to look at them. Maybe it's because they're one of the few things that are both incredibly practical and genuinely beautiful.
