Travel is mostly logistics pretending to be freedom
Experienced travelers aren't calmer because they never forget anything. They're calmer because they stop making decisions the night before. A packed bag, charged phone, and decent night's sleep beat last-minute perfection every time.
Traveling on a budget isn't just about spending less. It changes the choices you make, from where you eat to how you get around, and those choices often lead to experiences you'd never have if money wasn't a factor. I've had some of my best meals and experiences because I couldn't justify spending three times as much somewhere else.
I've stopped judging rentals by the photos and started judging them by the host. A quick, honest reply before you book usually tells you far more about your stay than a perfectly staged living room ever will.

The only thing you usually need is the right-shaped plug. Most modern electronics are built to work on different voltages, so if they say 100-240V, they'll work almost anywhere in the world. The voltage converter people panic-buy usually stays at the bottom of the suitcase.
