English is widely spoken, travel distances are short, and the combination of reef, rainforest, wildlife, and culture gives you much more variety than a typical beach vacation. ### Caye Caulker Caye Caulker is perfect if you’re looking for a smaller, relaxed island with sandy streets, bikes, and a 'Go Slow' vibe. It’s often more affordable than Ambergris Caye, but you still have easy access to snorkeling, diving, and the barrier reef.
