I'm guilty of making my vacation last until the very last possible second, once returning only hours before I had to be back in the office. I like the view that getting home is part of the travel and how you integrate back into your life can affect how the whole experience feels. Even better is the idea of bringing one changed habit or perspective into your ordinary life.

Our phones contain access to practically our entire lives and losing it isn't just losing an expensive object anymore. I know updates, backups, and security can be boring, but the payoff is enormous.
